News from the TIME TO ROCK camp. Anti-Queens are out, Scarlet is in!
Unfortunately, we have to announce that The Anti-Queens are cancelling their entire European tour. Sad we think of course, but we can already present a replacement in Swedish SCARLET.
Scarlet is the name of the alternative metal duo who stirred around in this year’s Melody Festival stew together with Smash Into Pieces. Scarlet came as far as to the final qualification with “Circus X“, which proves that their theatrical rock went home in the cabins. The two anonymous front characters call themselves Scarlet Hunts and Thirsty and are made up like skeletons and vampires. Scarlet was started in 2018 and with only a couple of singles on Spotify, they stood on Sweden’s major festival scenes in 2019, including the Sweden Rock Festival. That gig made Scarlet a real snack and then the duo hadn’t even released their first full-length. Scarlet Hunts also appeared in 90s rocker Erika‘s new music video for the song “Ball Gag“. In other words, the ball was properly rolling. The debut, Obey the Queen was released in November 2020 and when “You Know What” was already running, Scarlet‘s progress slowed down, as for all other artists in the industry. When “You Know What” was over, the girls embarked on an association tour with the Smash Into Pieces and since then a number of singles have been released again. Lastly “Circus X” of course, but songs like “Kill Me Another Day“, “Pow Pow Pow” and “Everybody Dies” are really worth highlighting them with. The ball is rolling again and in July it rolls all the way to Knislinge.
Scarlet will be playing on Sunday, July 7
