The Power Chord highlights the type of music Ivan grew up on and still loves today. It all started with a .45 of The Monkees when he was 7 years old. From there, his musical journey included the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, a lot of 80’s pop, Rush and all the way to Kiss. When you hear Power Chord you think of guitars and that is what you will hear on the show. Styles ranging from straight-up Rock to Power Metal. He never learned how to play but can appreciate the talent it takes to play the guitar. Hopefully, he can turn you on to some amazing guitar players. The Power Chord will also highlight a lot of new music as well as music from unsigned bands. Music should make you feel good and listening to CGCM Rock Radio is a daily requirement.
