ELECTRIC BOYS – Grand Explosivos
Heavy, groovy, melodic and fun. The Boys are back with a great album with diverse songs and you can sense the fun they had while making the album.

KARDANG – Rizky Biznizz
The Norwegian rockers in Kardang have released another perfect party rock album. Great riffs and cool songs to sing along to. Hope to see them live in 2024.

RONNIE ATKINS – Trinity
Ronnie’s best solo album to date of the three he has released. A bit harder than before but still with great melodies. Glad I got to see him live in concert.

SARAYASIGN – The Lion’s Road
The second chapter in this story from the Swedish band Sarayasign. Love the guitars from Daniel Blohm on this album that sounds a bit like Europe and the great vocals from Stefan Nykvist. A band I did not know before this album came out.

STREETLIGHT – Ignition
Modern AOR with great songs and great production that also have an 80s feel to it. They came out of nowhere and delivered this amazing melodic masterpiece. I am a sucker for this kind of music when it sounds this good.

MICHAEL CATTON – Point Of No Return
Another surprise for me this year. I have never heard of Michael Catton from Denmark before. Here he comes with his first solo album and blows me away. This is a very cool hard rock album with sounds of my childhood favourites like Van Halen, Whitesnake, KISS and more. Great from start to finish. Give me more!

THE DEFIANTS – Drive
This is like a new Danger Danger album and what a great album it is. Rob Marcello‘s guitars, Paul Laine’s vocals and Bruno Ravel’s bass deliver a great set of songs. They make me feel like it is summer again. Love it!

TAILGUNNER – Guns For Hire
What a debut from this English band! Heavy Metal at its best and maybe the best debut album since the early 80’s Iron Maiden? I really hope they will make it big and be around for a long time.

KENT HILLI – Nothing Left To Lose
The singer from Perfect Plan delivers an amazing album filled with melodic anthems like it would be a greatest hits album from Survivor. Great production and Kent delivers with such power.

ECLIPSE – Megalomanium
This is my most listened-to album this year and it showed on my Spotify year lists. Of course, I have bought it on both CD and vinyl. I never get tired of the songs and it was awesome to hear some of them live too. Thank you, Erik, Magnus, Victor and Philip for an awesome album that I will listen to many more times until you release a new one.
