Black Spiders are back on tour shortly after a hiatus of around 6 years. The band called it a day in 2016 on their emotionally entitled Fuck Off Black Spiders tour. After some time to chill or cool off the band decided to get back together again, and record an album only to find they then couldn’t go anywhere as the world had shut down! Talk about bad timing. Now things are back to some form of normality they are doing a 9-date tour of the UK starting this week in Carlisle. They are also booked up for a couple of festivals later in the year including Call Of The Wild and Maid In Stone in May and July.
The band released a self-titled album 2021 which was full of hard-rocking songs with attitude, energy punky yet commercial vibe. In May they will be releasing another album called rather appropriately Can’t Die, Won’t Die which will be 42 minutes of what they are calling “back street trouble” produced by their usual support Matt Elliss and released on Spinefarmon May 12, the first on this label.
The lead-up single “Hot Wheels” is out now with a video for which the link is down below the news. The band has said about the upcoming album… “It’s a party album from top to tail, every one a banger! As usual, there is something for everyone and maybe some surprises. We went all out, balls out on this record, each track is an earworm. Never has a title been more apt!”
