New release from: STARCHILD – Magic Well (December 2, 2023)
Full speed ahead!
The power metal band STARCHILD, founded in 2014 by Sandro Giampietro, has its sails full of wind. With their third album BATTLE OF ETERNITY, they had an impressive comeback into the power metal scene in 2022. After a very positive response from fans and the press, a successor should be released as quickly as possible. Twelve hits are in the starting blocks, recorded by Sandro Giampietro (vocals/guitar), Tom Nendza (bass) and Andi Pique (keyboards). For the drums, PRIMAL FEAR, THE UNITY, ROCK MEETS CLASSIC drummer Michael Ehré, who also played on the self-titled debut album, was brought into the studio. Now Andreas “Schüttie” Schütte, an absolute master behind the drums, is ready to conquer the world with the band.
The new album MAGIC WELL also doesn’t stop at unexplored musical terrain. At the same time, the STARCHILD trademarks were further sharpened. Melodic singing, virtuoso guitars, grooving rhythm and perfectly used keyboards. Overall, the musical range has increased and there are also one or two acoustic surprises on board. For example, an emotional ballad that Sandro dedicated to a close friend he lost. He remains true to himself in that the focus is always on the song. STARCHILD is already gearing up to present the album live. The first shows are already booked for the end of the year.
