(text taken from swedenrock.com) Neo-classical metal with Christian lyrics was in theory doomed to fail in 1996. But albums like Long Live The King (1999) made Sweden’s Narnia spearheads in the renaissance of melodic, 80s’ style metal. To the grief of many, the band folded in 2010. On their return four years later, featuring classic vocalist Christian Liljegren once again, the re-invigoration was unmistakable: the albums Narnia (2016) and From Darkness To Light (2019) have been praised as being among their best.
