Everyone, this is Bob. CGCM Radio/Podcast‘s resident palindrome is a long, long, LONG-time veteran of radio, logging over 20 years in the industry. When Bob isn’t collecting copious amounts of Star Wars shi…er, memorabilia, he hosts not one, not two, but THREE whole shows for CGCM Rock Radio.
Between The Stacks is pure Bob. Armed with a staggering knowledge of loud music and a silo-sized mug of coffee strong enough to be used as spaceship fuel, Bob shares his passion for hard rock and heavy metal with CGCM‘s listeners. The CGCM Train Wreck is a show that Bob co-hosts with Eric. That title certainly does not lie. Finally, the CGCM Top Twenty Countdown With Bob Bannister, in a stunning twist of fate, counts down the top 20 hard rock and metal tracks as voted on by CGCM listeners.
Not only does this guy host three shows, but Bob creates some of those commercials and bumpers you hear between songs. You can thank/blame him for those. Bob‘s dream is to feature an all-Van Halen format. However, somebody, presumably with taste, won’t let that happen. I’m kidding; we like Van Halen here.
Catch Between The Stacks on Saturdays from 12-2PM EST, Tuesdays from 4-6PM, and Thursdays from 8-10AM! Also, the CGCM Top 20 Countdown comes to you on the first Saturday of each month, starting at 12PM EST. If you want to check out The CGCM Train Wreck for some reason, it’s on…whenever, really. We usually try for mid-month, but we don’t really know. I’m sure Bob will advertise it ahead of time, though. That really IS a trainwreck.
