We at CGCM Rock Radio/Website love that Time To Rock is so receptive and responsive and listens to their fans and attendees. Within the past couple of days, Time To Rock made these two posts on Facebook:
POST #1:
“There is a lot of information that a festival wants to get out. But one thing that is more important than anything else is you. Our audience. It shouldn’t come with “you are the best audience in the world” or any other cliché. But 99% of everyone who writes and comments on our social media is positive and therefore it is also easier for us to take in wishes and criticism. We can truly say that we take care of what you think. Obviously, we can’t solve everything, but you just know that we discuss almost daily things that we read and hear from you. We want to improve a little from year to year. A good communication with you is worth an incredible amount.”
Awesome….how many festivals are so open to their festival-goers? And then, like the very next day, we get this announcement:
POST #2:
“We listen to you and Y&T sets up clearly.
Many have emailed and written that they want Y&T to get more game time. It’s always tricky at a festival to give bands long playing times. But now we have turned and turned it and Y&T‘s new game time will be 18.55-20.20, which gives another 10 minutes of playtime, so they clock in at 85 minutes anyway! So welcome to us this summer. Y&T is making their only Scandinavian gig with us!
