TIME TO ROCK FESTIVAL have published answers to some of their most frequently asked questions. So, for those wondering, here they are as per the festival’s Facebook post on October 24, 2024:
We get so incredibly many questions via mail and mess this year, so we thought that here, in a single epic and nutritious post, would answer the most common questions.
1. Can you bring children and what does it cost?
– Yes, children from 3 until they turn 13 enter the company of the goalkeeper for free.
Children under 3 years of age are not allowed in the area. The child has a beard, but is still under 13, so you must be able to legitimize the child. Of course, this also applies if the child is around the lower border.
2. How will it be with the bag ban in 2025?
– Not the paleest thing. As it looks like now the ban is still in place, but we will obviously bring this up with the police at the next meeting.
3. How are the bus times?
– There are buses between Kristianstad-Knislinge during the entire festival. The last bus goes home after the festival closes for the day. These buses also go to Osby. Last year we had a private actor who drove between the festival and Hässleholm, but this is not nailed yet for 2025. Info to come.
4. Do you have a separate MC camping?
– No unfortunately we do not, but at our tent camping you are allowed to bring your MC and have that side of the tent.
5. When are you releasing the 1-day tickets?
– They will be released at the end of January. How many depends entirely on how many 3-days we have sold until then.
6. When do you guys release the game schedule?
– We will release the game schedule well before we release the 1-day tickets. We will soon start releasing ready game days for some of the bands.
7. Is it far to go from the campsite?
– No, it’s not. The campsite is close to the festival area and compared to many other festivals, the distance is short even if you are “farthest away”.
8. Are there other places to stay if you don’t want to camp?
– Yes there are plenty of hotels in Kristianstad, but also in Osby and more. On our website there are links in plenty! there are buses to and from these places.
9. Is it far to the festival area from the parking lots and how much does parking cost?
– Parking is free. There are two parking spaces. From one it takes 5 minutes to walk, from the other 10 minutes.
10. What’s the difference between a regular ticket and a VIP ticket?
– If you buy a VIP ticket, you have access to our VIP lounge where there is an extensive assortment of drinks and food. Plenty of seating if you need to chill. In 2025 there will also be live interviews with artists inside! You also get a cool and unique VIP t-shirt and some other merchandise.
11. Where the fuck is Knislinge and how the fuck do I get there?
– Knislinge is located in northeastern Skåne, about 2 miles from Kristianstad.
There are good train connections to Kristianstad and then a bus to Knislinge. If you come by airplane you can land at Kristianstad Österlen Airport. If you take a flight to Copenhagen, the train goes to Kristianstad. Takes just over 90 minutes.
12. Is there a risk that the campsites will run out?
– No, of course, we will make sure there is camping for everyone. However, we recommend you to book camping early so that you end up at the “big camping” ABC, D and E. Last year it was almost over there and the interest for 2025 is much greater than before. However, we are going to extend this campsite a bit.
13. Can you bring a brass chair into the area?
– Yes, of course you get that!
14. You may bring the beer with you when you stand and watch the bands.
– Yes you will.
15. Is AC/DC coming?
– No, unfortunately, not.
Yes, those were the most frequently asked questions. If you have others, just say hi.
Welcome to Sweden’s coziest festival.
