So it was finally time to release the first tapes for Time To Rock 2025!
What about MICHAEL SCHENKER – My years with UFO with all our ERIK GRÖNWALL behind the microphone? Classic and immensely popular in Sweden.
Y&T are flying across the Atlantic to do an exclusive show with us.
We continue with one of the most requested bands, Finnish BATTLE BEAST and we also throw in the legendary NDH band OOMPH! in the equation.
The band that once inspired Rammstein to become what they are today. We move on with Tunisian MYRATH which now, at the request of many, finally comes to us in Knislinge.
MIKKEY DEE comes with his pals and delivers a high-octane tribute to Lemmy and Motörhead and when we’re on this track, so will British ASOMVEL, who will make the whole festival area explode with their high-octane hard rock and a band that both sounds like and reminiscent about Motörhead.
Sweden’s new guitar hero and one of the absolute best singers in our elongated country, Tommy Johansson appears with his band MAJESTICA (also one of the most desired bands).
From France comes one of the coolest guitarists and singers we’ve seen in a long time, namely LAURA COX. High-class blues rock that will not leave anyone untouched. Trust that!
Once upon a time, he was the sickly cool guitarist in Jason & the Scorchers. Now he’s cool in his own name when he comes to Knislinge from Nashville with his THE WARNER E. THE HODGES BAND. If you like rock-hard blues rock with attitude and elements of both country and southern rock, then this is for you.
Finally, we have saved three acts that will play at our pre-party on July 4th. First out is the Växjö band BULLET with Hell Hofer behind the mic. The track may not need any major presentation after many years in the service of hard rock, but if you like AC/DC, you will surely like Bullet! Second to last is the JOHN LINDBERG TRIO. Here we are talking about a Swedish rock band with strong influences of rockabilly that since 2004 has delivered awesome live performances around Sweden. Last, but not least, Sweden’s, yes perhaps the world’s best Creedence Clearwater Revival trumpet band, which in short and good, is called CREEDENCE TRIBUTE. This is so good and so similar to Creedence it’s ridiculous. Hit cavalcade at the pre-party!
That’s what we had to offer initially, but we still have 34 bands left to release.
Tickets will be released on Thursday. Then 3-day regular and 3-day VIP are released (1-day tickets will be released a bit next year when we have all game days ready). As usual, the offer of a ticket to the pre-party is included if you buy your ticket before the New Year. This applies as long as there are tickets for the pre-party left when we only take in 4000 visitors on that day.
