Wild Kingdom Records is stoked to announce that Swedish rock band SPIDERS will release their highly anticipated new album, Sharp Objects, in February 2025!
Sharp Objects brings together shattered dreams, lofty visions, and the raw essence of rock ‘n’ roll, creating a nostalgic sound that is also fiercely modern.
SPIDERS‘ sound is deeply rooted in classic rock ‘n’ roll however this new album offers something fresh, weaving together influences from the early 80s’ new wave and garage rock scenes. Sharp Objects takes listeners on a sonic journey – from the legendary Truckstop Alaska in Gothenburg, across New York’s iconic Bleecker Street, through London’s vibrant Soho, and back again. Along the way, you’ll encounter a musical landscape where the spirit of bands like The Faces, Dead Boys, Fred Cole, and Bikini Kill lives on, while a rebellious Debbie Harry gives a defiant nod to the present.
Founded in 2012, SPIDERS quickly made their mark with their debut album Flash Point and continued to build their reputation with follow-ups Shake Electric (2014) and Killer Machine (2018). Over the years, they’ve toured extensively, bringing their electrifying performances to rock clubs and festival stages across Europe and the United States.
With Sharp Objects, SPIDERS is set to push boundaries, offering a record that blends grit, attitude, and a deep respect for rock’s past and future.
