The Songs
This Ep features 6 songs, “Downton Livin”, “What your Doin’ to Me” and “Sixteen Forties” are three which have been released as singles already. All three are killer tracks that just grow and have you singing along. “Sixteen Forties” is my favourite off this EP. I loved it from the first time hearing it. This EP was just released March 10th so I have only had a chance to listen to it a few times but I love it.
The three new songs are “Keep That Shit to Yourself”, “BB Gun” and “Rock N’ Roll is Dead”. All three are great catchy tunes and fit perfectly with the others. All 6 songs are great songs and you won’t be skipping past any of them. The one odd song is “Jippableskibberskabber” which is sixteen seconds of noise.
One thing that really sets Pink Leather Jackets apart is their commitment to authenticity. They don’t try to be something they’re not, and they never compromise their artistic vision. This is a band that’s all about staying true to themselves, and it shows in every note they play.
Live show
