CGCM Rock Radio New Singles – September 22, 2021

Buzzsaw’s latest collection includes a couple of recommendations from CGCM contributors Ivan (Crown Lands) and Eric, aka Dr. Tardis (CroMagnum), both of which are absolutely banging. If you haven’t checked out Crown Lands yet and you like the music we play on CGCM, you need to make this happen. We’re also featuring some throwback music from The Night Flight Orchestra, Supernova Plasmajets, and The Dirty Denims. Mix in some heavy rock from Electronomicon, Abby K, Of Limbo, The Fifth, and Majestica, and you’re in for a treat.
White Buffalo – Crown Lands
Right from the first howl, you know you’re in for a treat. The Crown Lands duo crushes a groovy, proggy, and melodic rocker. Call me crazy, but it sounds like Robert Plant teamed with the Rush rhythm section holding down the low end for Aerosmith. Welcome to My Life – Electronomicon
“Welcome to My Life” is a powerhouse cut from the same cloth as classic Dio. The upbeat approach stands in sharp contrast to the subject, a loss of hope.
Because Of You – Abby K
Abby K returns with an abundant attitude and more heaviness. The video is definitely worth a look too, especially if you happen to be a dad.

Shake Little Sister – The Fifth
The Fifth is another killer North Carolina band, this time out of Fayetteville. They deliver straight-up hard rock with “Shake Little Sister“, the first single off their upcoming self-titled EP.
Change – The Night Flight Orchestra
It’s time to book another ticket with The Night Flight Orchestra and, although the song is “Change“, not much has — it’s only gotten better. NFO has figured out their formula and just about perfected it.

Let’s keep the 80s resurgence going with the Supernova Plasmajets. “Lonely Hearts in the Middle” is the second single off their album Now Or Never expected on October 22nd, 2021.
