CGCM Rock Radio New Singles – December 15, 2021

(BEAVER BUZZ)

For the last drop before Christmas, we’ve got a world tour of rock and metal. From Spain, India, Denmark, Canada, Sweden, the USA, the UK, Germany, and Hungary, hard and heavy rock and roll is alive and kicking.

Turned My Life AroundStop Stop

The latest single from Spain’s Stop, StopTurned My Life Around” is a surprisingly earnest song with, once again, a great video. You’ll still find plenty of glimmers of their signature smirk, but it’s another reason to pick up their fantastic Lowcost Life, one of 2021’s best. Can’t wait to see them on the Monsters of Rock Cruise.

Great tracks get better with every listen and “Doamond in the Rough” is a perfect example. Fuzzy guitars, and a bluesy approach from the band out of Montreal produce a real gem.

Ballad of Flesh & Blood – Bad Butler

The second helping of German metal in this edition of Beaver Buzz comes from Bad Butler. “Ballad of Flesh & Blood” is no ballad. It’s crushing metal.

Sor, Bor, Vodka, Rock ’N’ Roll (Beer, Wine, Vodka, Rock ’N’ Roll) – Pepe/Papa

When a request to play your song is signed “Hail Beer” you’re likely in for a drinking song.  Pepe/Papa from Hungary absolutely nails it, even though I don’t understand a word they’re saying.
