CGCM Rock Radio New Singles – August 4, 2021

Snake Bite Whiskey‘s latest is an absolute gem off of Black Candy. “Choke” checks all the boxes for a great sleaze rock song. If you haven’t checked out these Aussies yet, you’re doing yourself a disservice.
Sweet Caroline – Tragedy
What a waste of Neil Diamond‘s pipes his career was. He would’ve been huge as a glam rock singer. Tragedy nails precisely what the crooner could have been if he’d caught the metal bug.

Silent Battles – Dee Snider
“There’s nothin’ else that I would rather do” is the same today as it was in the 80s. Dee Snider is such a legend for his unapologetic energy, and he doesn’t disappoint here. Trevor McDougall personally picked this one for the Beaver Buzz and Tom Cornell has a spot-on take in his review of Leave a Scar. “Silents Battles” is precisely what Dee does best, empathize and point his horns the right way.
