Calling all Cleveland (and beyond) Metal Heads! A truly amazing Traditional Metal styled show is taking place on December 2, 2017. The one-day event held at The Beachland Ballroom & Tavern features two stages and ten acts, headlined by Night Demon‘s special 90-minute set and live album recording! There’s also a pre-party on Friday, December 1, 2017, at a different venue to make it a complete headbanging weekend. Hosted by the WJCU Metal On Metal Radio Show, this is the 9th annual presentation of the Cleveland Metal Holiday Food Drive.
Alongside Night Demon, bands on the bill include Breaker, Shok Paris, Resistance, Olathia, Gluttons, Granicus, Radiatrix, and Lady Beast! As well as outlaw burlesque troupe The Red Hot Heathens and comedians Cyndi Rice, Brad Bishop & John Hensler, Daniella Dior (Playboy) will be appearing. The 9th Annual Cleveland Metal Holiday Food Drive + WJCU Metal On Metal Show 35th Anniversary is hosted by Iron Ingo Sthührenberg & Chirs Emig and sponsored by WJCU, Auburn Records, The Exchange & Iron Ingo Stührenberg. Food and cash donations accepted for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and Friends Of The Cleveland Kennel.
Definitely “beyond”, Decibel Geek website editor Rich “The Meister” Dillon will be flying in from Toronto for this awesome event. Who’s joining me? What a great event and for a worthy cause as well. As Decibel Geek readers are probably well aware, I am a rabid Lady Beast fan and just reviewed their forthcoming Vicious Breed album. I’ve always wanted to witness Night Demon live and after reviewing Resistance‘s Metal Machine, they are also on my radar. I’ll be requiring directions to a local grocery store to obtain my non-perishables. Won’t be packing my carry-on with those!
