Glorious Bankrobbers were pioneers of the first Swedish sleaze wave. The band had a hit with the song “Dynamite Sex Doze” which was in frequent rotation on MTV’s Headbangers Ball. The band toured the US and recorded a live album at the legendary New York club CBGB.
Glorious Bankrobbers paved the way for successful Swedish bands such as Hardcore Superstar and Mustache. In the spring of 2023, the band released their long-awaited comeback album Back On The Road and was warmly welcomed by the fans.
One year later, the band is already back with the new album Rock’n’Roll Church which will be released on September 27, 2024. Rock’n’Roll Church was recorded at House of Voodoo in Stockholm and is mixed by Robert Pehrsson in Studio Humbucker. The first single, “Rock’n’Roll Church” which is also the title track from the upcoming album, is released already!
