New release from: GELATIN SKELATIN – Gelatin Skelatin (October 04, 2021)
GELATIN SKELATIN is a rockin band out of Ottawa, Canada. The brainchild of vocalist Brett Kelly, the band has a retro 80s hard rock approach that is powered by the thunderous drums of Chad Walls (who has toured with Paul Dianno, The Skull, Orange Goblin and more) and is ably backed up by bassist Daniel Brown and guitarist Myles (Slam Tango) Rourke on guitar.
The band have finished an 8 song LP featuring the song “Heavy Metal Werewolf” which is already tearing up the airwaves by being added to the rotation to several international radio stations. “HMWW”, along with three other tracks on the album, were co-written by Kelly along with Mike Trebilcock, Juno award-winning singer of 90s alt-rock band The Killjoys. The first official single is the song “Reach for the Sky” co-written by Kelly and guitarist for Famous Underground, Darren Boyd. Also featured on the album is an obscure glam metal cover of the song “Alone Without You” originally performed by 80s hair band TUFF.
The album is being released digitally on Oct 4th and on physical media available through the band’s social media pages.
