Rich “The Meister” Dillon here for CGCM Rock Radio/Website. I’ve been following a band from The Netherlands for quite a few years now. They are called The Dirty Denims and I reviewed their album Back With A Bang back in 2017. I had reviewed another album for the website I was with at the time (Decibel Geek) and after reading that, Dirty Denims band leader Mirjam Sieben emailed me suggesting Dirty Denims!
The Dirty Denims have been on my “Bucket List” of bands to witness live on a stage. It’s been close a few times, very close, but somehow I’ve never been able to pull it off….yet… The Denim & Lightning Festival 2025 seems like the place to make this happen finally. The Dirty Denims have teamed up with my friend Kersten Lamers of KL Concerts and Promotions for this one-day festival event. The first edition was a success and now they present the line-up for the 2025 edition.
The Denim & Lightning Festival is entering its second edition and this time it is taking place in Oberhausen! The following 5 bands are taking part this time:

-Grande Royale (Sweden)
-The Dirty Denims (Netherlands)
-Hardbone (Hamburg)
A small but nice festival with something for everyone, from glam rock to hard rock!
