CRUEL INTENTIONS – Wildfest 2025 (Concert Blog)

CRUEL INTENTIONS - Wildfest 2025 (Concert Blog)Well, another Wildfest is complete. The End Of The Road, final one. Whether it was your first experience or you’re a seasoned veteran, what a ride! Friends from around the globe: smiling, laughing and embracing each other. All to the soundtrack of some talented bands and fantastic musicians. Thanks, Jan Degreve, Sven Breckmoes, Wildheart and everyone involved.

CGCM Rock Radio/Website had three representatives in attendance for this 2025 event. All three are huge music fans, but with different tastes and preferences….here’s the crew:

RichThe MeisterDillon – Co-creator of the CGCM Empire, he’s here and present for his 4th consecutive Wildfest. Often citing it as one of his favourite festivals, its exit will leave a massive hole in his heart.

Brian RonaldCGCM Rock Radio/Website‘s ace photographer and also “That 70s Guy” writer, pulled the trigger on his first time attendance in 2025 after hearing so many positive accolades from Meister and other friends.

KrystiKryfarFarnam – Leaving her camera at home and really just attending her first Wildfest to rock out, Kryfar had a blast and wishes that the fest would continue. As do we all, Kryfar, as do we all!

We will each share a few comments on every band we saw and on the event itself.

THE CRUEL INTENTIONS

KRYFAR: The Cruel Intentions were one of the main reasons I decided to go to Wildfest. And they did not disappoint. The hall was packed, the crowd was amped, and their performance was explosive. They kicked off their set with “City of Lice” and kept the energy up throughout the show with bangers like “Chemical Vacation”, “Accidentally Intoxicated” and the song that I always love to sing along to “Go Fuck Yourself”. These guys are true rock stars who know how to throw a party! Definitely worth seeing over and over again.

BRIAN: Having direct support to festival closer Crazy Lixx, The Cruel Intentions put on another high-energy set. It was my second time seeing the boys from Sweden. Lizzy and the gang played some faves for the sold-out crowd, such as “Sick Adrenaline“, “Borderline Crazy” and “Chaos in a Bombshell“. A perfect fit for Wildfest’s swan song.

MEISTER: I think the first time I ever saw The Cruel Intentions was on this very stage a few years ago. The fans were so frantic they collapsed the photo pit during the set! I do love this sleazey punky band, but frankly might have overdosed on them. Since then, I’ve seen them many times, about 8 times last year alone and then 3 more on MORC just a couple months ago and with no new material other than the two albums🤷🏻‍♂️. Thankfully, the setlist was rejuvenated for this gig, but I desperately yearn for new TCI music……boys?
