CGCM Podcast EP#97 - Firewolfe Drummer Jeffrey McCormackThe Canadian Geeks are kicking things into overdrive. Back to back interview episodes! This week’s episode features Firewolfe‘s drummer Jeffrey McCormack.

For those that may not be familiar, here is the Reader’s Digest version. Firewolfe are a killer “traditional” heavy metal band from Seattle Washington. Originally started as a side project for guitarists Nik Layton (Q5) and Paul Kleff (Reverence). Firewolfe was born.

From there they released 2011’s self-titled Firewolfe album and followed it up in 2014 with We Rule The Night. After a lengthy hiatus, the band is now working on their highly anticipated third release.

Episode 97 – Jeffrey McCormack

Jeffrey McCormack recently sat down to discuss his rock n roll journey. His first concert, came courtesy of four make-up wearing, fire breathing, blood spitting madmen. Peter Criss left a lasting impression that night and Jeffrey knew his chosen path. Even his first drum kit comes with an interesting back story.

From his days with Q5, his touring gigs with Heir Apparent, Fifth Angel, Nightshade and Bloodgood. His short tenure as a lead vocalist with Screams Of Angels and a shockingly cool story about his time in Alice ‘N Chains! Note we said Alice ‘N Chains and NOT Alice In Chains. An amazing story you don’t want to miss!
