10 – BALLS GONE WILD – Stay Wild 🇩🇪
Although none of the 11 tracks on the album cracked my top 100 songs of the year, Stay Wild was an album I listened to often.
It was easy to listen to this album from beginning to end.
09 – HALESTORM – Back from the Dead (Deluxe) 🇺🇸
Not to be confused with the original release, the deluxe edition of Back from the Dead contains 7 b-side tracks.
In all honesty, I much preferred some of these more than what made the cut off the original pressing.

08 – THE BLACK MOODS – Into the Night 🇺🇸
Sometimes reminding me of older The Black Crows and sometimes reminding me of The Four Horsemen, The Black Moods released a package deal album with Into the Night.
No track sticks out more than another, but a very enjoyable album.

07 – SKID ROW – The Gang’s All Here 🇺🇸
This album is all about the new lead vocalist bringing back a triumphant return to form for Skid Row. Although no surefire #1 singles off this long-awaited album exist, it still achieves in grabbing the die-hard fans.

06 – FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH – AfterLife 🇺🇸
This FFDP release surprised me as I was a part-time fan of the band. That stopped with AfterLife. The tracks, the structure, the production of this LP are impressive to say the least. It made me go through their back catalogue to see what I might have missed out on.

05 – MARVEL – Graces Came with Malice 🇸🇪
This album is so much fun to listen to. I use a five-star rating system and must say that of the 11 tracks 2 had 4 stars and two had 5 stars. I’m very picky and getting a 5-star, the track(s) have to be top-notch. Märvel got two.

04 – KARDANG – We Ain’t Dead Yet by Kardang 🇳🇴
Just push play on this fantastic album by Kardang and the tunes will do the rest. I daydreamed at work on more than one occasion of playing this album as soon as I would get home. If in the right mood, this album can take you where you wanna be. Absolutely brilliant from one end to the other.

03 – AUDREY HORNE – Devil’s Bell 🇳🇴
I don’t know if it was on purpose or a pure fluke but the sound of the tracks on Devil’s Bell is simply amazing. I can’t imagine the album sounding differently. The quality of the songwriting also grabbed me and brought me back to old-school metal. Three tracks from this album cracked my top 100 songs of the year.
02 – NORDIC UNION – Animalistic 🇩🇰/🇸🇪
I have 7 electric guitars and still, I could not reach them in time when listening to this album as I would break out in air guitar poses. I become a 15-year-old again listening to this old-school metal-sounding album. Three tracks from this album made the cut in top 100 songs of the year.
01 – THE WARNING – Error 🇲🇽
I sorta knew what to expect with this release by The Warning… or so I thought. I’ve not enjoyed listening to a band like this since the mid-80s. Five tracks off of this album ranked in my best songs of the year, with 4 of them being in the top 50. I’ve not been able to not listen to this album since May. I was lucky to have seen the future of hard rock live in concert twice this year and that’s The Warning.
