Good news for Time To Rock festival goers! The Swedish police have lifted the bag ban….announcement from Facebook below:
“The bag ban is over. It is no more!
Today we got then, black and white, that the police have decided that the bag ban at major events and festivals is now gone. This means that you are allowed to bring a bag, backpack, stomach bag, bag, etc. into the Time To Rock Festival again.
However, we will be required to make a thorough mud in the entrance, so please come in advance before your favourite band is playing.
But let’s now see this as something very positive, even though it may cause the queues into the area to be slightly longer. Of course, we will staff properly to avoid the queues. So, be prepared for mudding, open your bags etc, and together we will do this in a good and safe way for everyone. As usual, we will do everything in our power to ensure that the wrong things are not brought into the area for the safety of everyone. Just because you’re allowed to bring a bag again, don’t exaggerate. Only bring the essentials.

Time To Rock Festival also asks this question of attendees:
“Now that the bag ban is lifted, that is the question. How many are still interested in having a “wardrobe” where you can put your belongings in? The reason we are asking the question is that it requires quite a lot of staff and planning for it to work. Last year, when there was a bag ban, not so many people used this service anyway. So that’s why we throw out the question here and now!“
**UPDATED June 23, 2025:
“Despite the end of the bag ban, we know that there are many of you who want the option of storage during the festival. So now we have solved this year also. It will be located directly to the right of the entrance.
The cost to hand in your things there is SEK 70 per day. Then you can pick up and leave as often as you want. They prefer to see that you leave everything in a bag/backpack/bag so there are not just loose articles.
We hope this will be helpful to anyone who wants to have decent, close access to exchange etc and also be able to relax knowing that valuables are in safe storage. However, we will not have any wardrobe/value storage inside the festival area.”
