AGE OF REFLECTION – Manchester (Photo Gallery)

CGCM Podcast/Website‘s newest contributor, Ian Spencer was on hand recently for melodic rock band Age of Reflection as they stormed the Zombie Shack in Manchester UK. The show was part of a four-night UK run that also included Newcastle, Grimsby and Barnsley.

From Facebook: Age of Reflection formed in 2013 Carl Berglund and his old bandmate Jan Skärming decided to fulfill their musical dream, write songs shaped at its very core by 80s rock giants. These were songs with emotional harmonies from pure British AOR, with the power of American hard rock, sprinkled with hooks from the new era of Swedish melodic rock. Joining them in the songwriting came Lars Nygren in spring -14(vocals), a friend of Carl‘s since high school. When equipped with a ton of hard-hitting melodic rock songs written, the missing pieces of the puzzle joined forces. They turned out to be Jonas Nordquist (lead guitar), drummer Michael Sjöö (replaced by Peppe Vikman in August-18) and Jens Rüttgeroth on keyboards (member since Oct. -17).

Here’s Ian‘s captures from Age of Reflection at Zombie Shack in Manchester on November 8, 2019.
